This video was taken on Christmas Eve. It was the first time we heard Trevor laugh! He is becoming more fun for Justin to play with already! Yea! Maybe next month they can play baseball together!

Last night we went to our friends, Karen and Rob's house and Karen got Trevor to laugh! I am glad I brought my camera to capture it!!! Enjoy!

Kaylee got her ears pierced!

For her 7th birthday we decided to get Kaylee's ears pierced. She was so excited! She picked out some pretty earrings for her very first pair, didn't she?

Kaylee's new book.

Kaylee recently got a new princess diary book from a school book order, which came with a key and a lock. When she got it she discovered however that the key and lock that came with it didn't really lock and that anyone could get into it if they just pushed the button inside the lock with a pen or pencil! Kaylee wanted a REAL lock on it so that nobody could get into it and so Justin drilled a hole in her book (with Kaylee's permission of course) and put a real lock on it!

Here is a close up of the lock. Now she better not loose the key or she won't be able to get into it either!!! Kaylee is much happier with her book now that it is secure (even though it does have a big hole drilled in the corner!)

Trevor Ethan Jones has finally arrived!

I just love how excited Kaylee looks here to finally meet her little brother!

Here is Trevor right after I changed his diaper. Isn't he sweet?

This is right after he was born laying on the warming bed and already sucking his fingers! He weighed in at 7 lbs. 2 oz. and 19 1/2 " long. Born on Sept. 23rd at 7:47pm.

I stuck a balloon from my baby shower under Alison's dress and she thought it was so fun to pretend to be like mommy!

While we were traveling to Phoenix to drop Jeremy off for his airplaine ride home, we passed a bunch of cacti and thought it would be fun to take some pictures of us with the cactus background! Kaylee was being rather stubborn, which explains her funny-looking scrunched up face!

She's still got it!

As many of you know, ever since she was a baby, Alison has had a knack for growling. She doesn't growl very much these days unless prompted to do so. Here is a hilarious video of her talk-growling! You can tell she just loves the attention! Her growl just sounds so cute with her sweet little girl voice!

What I look like now at 7 months!

So, here is a picture of me almost 30 weeks along. Some say I only look 5 month's pregnant, but I sure don't feel like 5 months! (By the way, that water spot on my back is NOT sweat, it is from a water balloon HONEST!)

Locked out!!!

We just recently came back from a short trip to northern California to see Justin's youngest sister, Natalie get sealed in the Sacramento Temple to Marshall Haymore. The morning before she got married, Justin's parent's accidentally got their keys locked in their car in Yuba City. Below is a picture of Justin and his dad trying to break in their van. We eventually had to call the tow truck and he saved us. We luckily got to the temple in time!!! Everything turned out wonderfully in the end!

Too tired to eat!

While we were eating dinner at my mom's house, Alison was falling asleep. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to record this little video of her nodding off. Don't worry, I put her down for a nap shortly after I shot this video and she had a nice late nap and felt much better afterwords! It's hard to put kids down for naps when you are on vacation!

Dress up

When we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa a week or so ago, Grandma played dress up with the kids. They had fun dressing up in Grandma and Grandpa's clothes.

Here is a cute picture I took of Alison helping Justin clean the gas tanks that he found for his truck at a junk yard the other day. She loves being with her daddy and getting dirty!

We Love America!

Since Independence day is coming up soon, I thought I would post this cute picture of the girls wearing their matching heart flag shirts that we bought for them. Happy early 4th of July everyone! (This was taken on Kaylee's 2nd to last day of school for her "America" performance.)

Our (Justin's) New (old) Truck

So Justin decided to buy this truck and sell his old one. It is a 1978 Chevy Silverado. Part of the reason he wanted it was so he could fit the whole family in it! It is rather pretty long because it has a long bed AND a crew cab! It has newly upholstered seats and a new paint job too- so that part is nice. So anyway we are hoping to sell his other Chevy truck quickly, so that it will help pay for this one! But I am NOT selling my suburban! Anyone wanna buy a 1983 Chevy Silverado 4X4 pickup? Look at the picture below! It runs great!

One year down, 12 more years left....and then there's college!

Kaylee has graduated from Kindergarten! Here is her teacher, Mrs. Raebel with Kaylee. She was a wonderful Kindergarten teacher and Kaylee will miss her! (Sometimes Kaylee calls me Mrs. Raebel without knowing it! Then I have to ask her if I look like Mrs. Raebel!)

All the Kindergartners were given these silly glasses to wear. They had a lot of fun laughing at each others silly faces!

Below is a video of her class singing "Days of the Week" for us parents. Kaylee was chosen to help lead the class! They also sang a cute song to help them remember the months of the year, but the batteries died in my camera, so I couldn't record that one!

Our old house in Yuba City, CA is for sale again!

Click on the title above and you will see how much our old house is for sale! Keep in mind that when we sold it, we got $227,000 for it (that was in the spring of 2007!). We are so glad that we got out when we did and that we were able to sell it before we had to leave and move to Yuma, Arizona! There are some things that I do miss about this old house. One of them is the nice big backyard we had with the nice garden soil and cherry and apple tree. I will also miss my kitchen that Justin remodeled to my liking. He did such a nice job on the kitchen cabinets. They turned out beautiful! I will also miss the nice new carpet we had put in before we sold it. But don't get me wrong, I AM glad we got out of there and I DO like my house I live in now! Since the link doesn't show any pictures of the kitchen that I miss for some reason, I will post some pictures that I took of our old kitchen to let you see what a beautiful job Justin did on the cabinets.

Kaylee lost her first tooth!!

Here is Justin tying a piece of dental floss on Kaylee's loose tooth. After a few attempts of pulling and having the dental floss slipping off the tooth, Kaylee finally pulled it out with the floss all by herself! What a brave girl she is! I never was that brave! Look how tiny her tooth is- especially when it is all by itself and not in her mouth!

I guess that bigger adult tooth behind it talked the baby one into coming out finally! (See the post from May 12th titled: "Aaah!! Time for Kaylee to see the dentist again!")

The tooth fairy gave her $1.50! Wow! I don't think I got that much when I was little!

What's in YOUR carpet???

Look at what we got out of the carpets in our house! Gross huh? Well, our office room carpet had a lot of stains in it and so we decided to rent a carpet cleaner (Rug Doctor) at our nearest grocery store to get our stains out. Since we had the machine, we (Justin) went ahead and cleaned the other rooms that had carpet. Our floors look a lot better now but the dirt and stuff from the carpets temporarily clogged up our bathtub (as you can see from the picture)! It feels good to know I have nice clean carpets now! I just had to take a picture of it to show you how productive us Jones' can be (when we feel like it)!

Kaylee's cute note

Here is a note I found that Kaylee wrote to her Kindergarten teacher. She drew a picture of her cleaning up the classroom to go with it. I thought it was so cute. If you can't read the note, this is what it says:

"Dear Mrs. Raeble, I want to give this to you 'cause I think you are the best and you rock of course. I wish I can go to your house. I really do thank you for letting me help you. After you see this, I will give you a hug. I will turn into a helper bug and make the room spotless. I love going to school 'cause of lots of stuff. Have fun teaching next year's class. I will have fun cleaning and I can not wait. I'm so excited. I will be quiet and try to tell everyone to be quiet."

Sponge curlers are fun!

Last week Kaylee wanted to wear curlers to bed so she would have curly hair for church. Of course Alison had to do it too. I always forget to take a picture of the finished product in the morning but Kaylee's hair turned out so pretty!

Only 3 curlers were needed to gather up all of Alison's hair!
