"Yeyee, Sock,...Gaao"!

Here is an activity Alison loves to do with Justin & I. Many of you parents may be familiar with it. She sits on my legs and then after we say "Ready, Set, GO", then I flip her over me! Alison tries to say it too, she says, "Yeyee, Sock, Gaao!".

Kaylee got this little pink piece of plastic from the prize box at school today. It's so fun to watch her in this video because she never knows when it will jump! She calls it her "cherry jumper".

In Loving Memory of Grandfather Jones

We just recently came back from Justin's grandfather's funeral. It was very nice. In memory of him I am posting the obituary that was in "The Sun" (San Bernardino County's Newspaper). I also decided to post a picture of him when he was younger. (No wonder I have such good looking kids!) Lloyd Vernon Jones LLOYD VERNON JONES passed away on 14, Jan. 2009, in Redlands, CA. He was born in Enid, OK, on 29, Dec. 1922. Lloyd lived on the same block of "C" Street in Colton since he was a little boy. He honorably served in the US Army during WW2. He married Shirlie May in 1942, and after her passing, married Marjorie Martin in Aug. 2006. Lloyd was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithf ully there. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; his daughters, Vicki Wilde, Rebecca Goldsberry, Susan Dunn; and his sons, Lloyd, Steven, Harry, Michael and Ross. His son, David passed away at two months. He was a loving and devoted father of nine children, 34 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, with two more on the way, and one great-great grandchild in the oven. Lloyd's family would like to thank Marjorie's daughter, Terri for all her help this past year. Funeral Services will be held on Monday t he 19th at 10:00 A.M. at the Colton LDS Chapel on La Cadena in Colton.

Alison was a sickie but now she is better!

These are pictures of Alison when she developed some kind of rash from an infection caused by a virus that I think (from looking the symptoms up) is called "5th Disease" and the rash is described as looking like a "slapped cheek". My poor baby girl had a few fevers and not much of an appetite for a week. All the time she needed to be held, which made me totally helpless to do other things I needed to do! But she is finally better now and back to her old self again and her cheeks are not so red thank goodness! In the last picture, you can kind of see that there is a "lacy" looking rash on her shoulders and chest, but that is all gone too! yea! (I know she doesn't look like she is sick from the smiles but she started feeling better when the rash on her chest appeared.)
