Someone had a birthday! Shout horray!

Kaylee turned 6 on the 28th of December! Kaylee helped me make and decorate this cake. We didn't have any tube frosting so we had to make letters with sprinkles! This is the only picture I have from her party because the batteries in my camera went dead. Luckily we had a back-up camera, but it is with Justin at work at the moment! Maybe I will post more of them later!

Alison the Entertainer! (Who needs a T.V.? Not us!)

How fast can you sit down? Alison can do it in no time! She started doing this a few weeks ago and she still does it because I guess she likes the attention she gets when she does it! It is hilarious! Oh by the way, this is their newly painted room! It was so fun to do too! I'll have to take better pictures of it and post it when their room is cleaned up a little better!

Our Christmas Lights!

So here is our house that we decorated for Christmas. Justin did the hard part (the roof part)! What a good sport he is to please me! We went out and bought 7 boxes of multi-colored icicle lights for our roof and we used 6 of them! If we didn't have an big empty lot across the street, I probably wouldn't be able to fit it all in!

Time to buy new candles?

Oops! I was getting my Christmas decorations and candles out from the attic and realized that the attic may not be the best place for my candles during the summertime!!! A total of 3 candles were ruined! The other candle had a cute bear statue stuck in it but I threw it away before I thought to take a picture of it and post it on my blog! The one on the right was the worst one! It is so warped that you can't even see the candle holder that it is sitting on!

Our Thanksgiving!

My family came down to visit us for Thanksgiving this year. It was so nice to see them again! Too bad my sister and her family couldn't join us though. We missed her!
Surprisingly it rained quite a bit here in Yuma, Arizona. It usually just rains only in July and August here.

Desert Wildlife!

Check out the tarantula Justin spotted on the freeway at work the other day. Justin backed up the freeway and snapped a couple of pictures. The next car to pass by sent it in about five different directions. Always look both ways before crossing a major Interstate.
