Kitty Pebbles!

This is a jar labeled "Kitty Pebbles". When the girls do something extra-ordinary(like Alison staying dry, or Kaylee helping with daily chores), they get to add 1 or 2 blue glass pebbles in the jar. When the jar is all filled up and there are no more of the pebbles, then we will buy some kittens for the girls (yes, real live kitties...the ones that meow and play and go potty)! This is wonderful motivation for the girls. It's also good for helping them be good because when they start to whine or do something bad, the pebbles are taken out of the jar! I am a little excited myself because I adore cats-especially kittens. Justin says "It's your deal!", meaning, "I'm not going to be involved and you are in charge of the cats and helping the girls take care of them, not me!"

Kaylee lost another tooth!

On Monday, March 8th (Aunt Laura's Birthday) Kaylee pulled another tooth out....by herself with a piece of dental floss! She is so brave! The tooth fairy gave her a dollar for it!

Laying out clothes for the next day.

Kaylee was so excited to show me this person she created with the clothes that she laid out for school tomorrow! So funny and so creative that girl is! (She eventually had to take the head and hands out so they wouldn't freak her out during the night!)

Door Mat Art!

So this is how we clean the door mats: Turn mat upside down, jump on it, then take mat away to see the "stamp" that was just created, then repeat until you can't get any more dirt out! See how many "stamps" you can create! The girls had a lot of fun creating doormat art! I will let them clean it next time it gets dirty!!!

New earrings for Alison

Kaylee made these earrings for Alison the other day. Aren't they cute?
I think they only lasted a few minutes though. Oh well, at least the picture lasts!

Kaylee the Gardener!

Kaylee sprouted some pumpkin seeds at school a few months back and wanted to plant it in the ground. Then we added a bunch more seeds with it from the pumpkin we had from Halloween. Kaylee was so excited when she saw it coming up out of the ground! Maybe we will have a few pumpkins someday!

Trevor updates!

Trevor is getting to be quite a professional at sucking his two fingers. They are his best friends, usually when mom is not there with him! Hopefully it won't cause problems in the future!


He is becoming mobile also! When I laid him down on the floor, he was on his back and not under the trampoline as you see in this picture!

Christmas Eve Giggles.

This video was taken on Christmas Eve. It was the first time we heard Trevor laugh! He is becoming more fun for Justin to play with already! Yea! Maybe next month they can play baseball together!

Kaylee got her ears pierced!

For her 7th birthday we decided to get Kaylee's ears pierced. She was so excited! She picked out some pretty earrings for her very first pair, didn't she?
